- You need to know at least one object oriented language(C++/Python/Java).
- C
- CSS & HTML
- Javascript
- PHP
- Ruby
- Perl
- Shell and if you know someother language very well also it's also good.
3. Knowledge of discrete maths and logical reasoning is also important.
4. Develop a strong understanding for algorithms and data structures.
5. Knowledge of Operating systems , compilers(building compilers), artificial intelligence is also very important.
6. Cryptography(Coursera).
7. Do some small innovative projects , make your own website or a robot.
8. Work on projects with other programmers and work on things like opensource etc.
Practice is an important part to achieve all the above listed techniques.
